Start of the seminar "Serious Games in the Classroom"

The University of Greifswald is offering the seminar “Serious Games in the Classroom” in the summer semester of 2024, in which teacher education students will develop the teaching materials for the learning game SEL4@LL.

As part of the ERASMUS+ research project “SEL4@LL,” this seminar focuses on the development and research of a serious game that can be used directly in the classroom. Seminar participants will gain in-depth insights into the theoretical foundations that shape the design of this innovative game. In addition to theory, a key focus is on practical application: Participants will work on developing teaching materials that will later be tested in schools in combination with the game. A special feature of the seminar is the exchange with Spanish teachers.
