Recap: SEL4@LL International Conference on Innovation and Technology in Socio-Emotional Education

The SEL4@LL International Conference on Innovation and Technology in Socio-Emotional Education took place on October 23–24, 2025, at the University of Valencia. The event brought together educators, researchers, and professionals from across Europe to explore how digital innovation, artificial intelligence, and serious games can enhance socio-emotional learning and mental health in education.
Through lectures, symposia, and applied sessions, participants shared insights and practical experiences from schools and institutions, creating an inspiring space for scientific exchange and collaboration.
The conference, held as part of the European SEL4@ll project, aimed to foster new ways of promoting social and emotional skills among students and teachers. It successfully combined knowledge, practice, and innovation, highlighting the importance of emotional wellbeing in education.
We are grateful to all speakers, participants, and partners who made these two days such an enriching and transformative experience.
Official name of the SEL4@LL learning game: Portals of Growth – Your SELF Adventure

After intensive development work, extensive testing, and creative processes, we are delighted to announce the official name of our learning game:
Portals of Growth – Your SELF Adventure.
The game helps students playfully develop their personal and professional skills. It is already being successfully used in selected schools – with consistently positive feedback from teachers and students.
The official launch for all interested parties will take place in the fall.
We look forward to making Portals of Growth – Your SELF Adventure available to a wider audience and thus opening up a new way of learning.
