Welcome to the pages of the teacher-training degree course in primary education!

The innovative aspect of the ten-semester degree course at the University of Greifswald is the consistent integration of theory and practice from the very first day of studies. Students spend one day a week in schools in and around Greifswald. The ninth semester is spent almost entirely at a school. At the University of Greifswald, students are trained as future class teachers. That is why students study a total of 4 teaching subjects. In addition to the compulsory subjects of German and maths, students can choose their other subjects freely from a wide range of possible options.
