In our DFG research project

“BeLL – Attitudes and Behaviors in the Teacher-Learner Relationship: A Theoretical Model Concept of Reciprocal Relationships between Teachers and Learners,”

we use longitudinal analyses of questionnaire data to examine the socio-emotional relationships between German and mathematics teachers and students in lower secondary education. We focus in particular on different perspectives, the interaction between teachers and learners within social interactions, and psychological processes (e.g., motivation, attitudes) that mediate the relational behaviors of teachers and learners.
